I recently discovered the absolutely brilliant Garfield Minus Garfield, which depicts Garfield cartoons from which the title character has been erased completely. The result depicts the boring, desperate, and despairing life of Jon Arbuckle, who is gradually descending into madness:
OK, so it’s not, strictly speaking, “reactionary.” But boy, is it entertainment!
Most of the strips do not show up for me. My ISP’s anti-terrorism filter, perhaps.
